If you are using the Titan softlock system, use the following procedure to upgrade it to the latest version.
Note that this should only be done on the computer that has the Titan server installed. For network licences, the Titan server is usually installed on just one computer and not on each SPACE GASS computer!
Upgrading from Titan 9.05 or later:
download the latest Titan server program and save it to your desktop.
When
the download is complete, double-click the downloaded file to install
it. Follow the installation prompts and accept the default settings
for each step until the installation is complete.
The new Titan server should now run.
Upgrading older versions of Titan:
download the latest Titan server program and save it to your desktop.
When
the download is complete, double-click the downloaded file to install
it. Follow the installation prompts and accept the default settings
for each step until the installation is complete.
Open
the Titan Administration tool via the Start button => All Programs
=> Titan Licence Manager => Administration tool.
Request
a new SPACE GASS registration package by clicking the "Register" button and then
emailing the hardware signature it provides to admin@spacegass.com.
This is not an automated service and so please also include your business
name and contact details in the email so that you can be identified!
When
you receive the SPACE GASS registration package by return email, save
it to your desktop and then click the "Register"
button again to register your Titan server. If
you have closed the Titan Administration tool then just open it again
as per step 3 above.
Once
registered, you should check that a green tick appears above the "Start Titan" button near the
bottom-right corner of the tool. If it is a red cross then click the
"Start Titan" button
and, when the green tick appears, you can close the tool.
The new Titan server should now run.
If you are using an out of date version of SPACE GASS, you may also wish to upgrade it to the latest version.
