The merge nodes tool allows you to merge nodes that are within a specified distance of one another.
After selecting the nodes to be merged, right-click and select "Node Tools" => "Merge Nodes" from the popup menu that appears. Selected nodes that are within the the tolerance you specify in the following form will be merged into a single node.
